Taking Flight to Havelock

It seems like every time I visit New Bern, I either plan to visit Havelock or run into someone that says, “You should go to Havelock.” Well, I finally did it. And, I now know what I have been missing. Eastern Carolina's Aviation History The town is just a short, easy drive from New Bern. It took me less than 20 minutes. A Trip Forward Back in Time

In all my travels when I choose to venture outside New Bern, one place I had yet to visit was Kinston. With the new year comes new places to see, so I headed west on U.S. Highway 70 just 35 miles down the road. The drive to Kinston is an easy one, and one that I am glad I did.
